About Gajendra Singh
Gajendra Singh is a tech entrepreneur, product strategist, and Current CEO of Caasaa—an AI innovation company focused on transforming business operations through AI-driven CRM, ERP, analytics, and automation. As the Founder (Former CEO) of Webkype, he has led the development of 30+ digital products across industries since 2015. With over a decade of experience, Gajendra is known for blending vision with execution, building scalable solutions, and driving digital transformation. His work centres on practical innovation, AI adoption, and creating technology that empowers people and businesses to grow.
Early Life and Background
Gajendra Singh was born in Bajera, a small village with a close-knit community of nearly 200 people, located near Tekanpur in Madhya Pradesh, close to the historic city of Gwalior. The youngest among four siblings, he grew up in a family environment that balanced values, responsibility, and aspiration.
He completed his primary and secondary education at the BSF School, Tekanpur, situated within the expansive 4-kilometre BSF campus. Spending his formative years from Class 1 to Class 12 within this disciplined, secure, and structured setting played a significant role in shaping his mindset. The environment instilled in him qualities of resilience, routine, self-discipline, and a strong sense of purpose—traits that would later influence his entrepreneurial journey.
Family, Upbringing and Influence
Gajendra Singh’s upbringing was deeply shaped by his family’s connection to the Border Security Force (BSF). His father’s service in the BSF played a pivotal role in defining the values that guided his childhood. Growing up within the disciplined environment of the Tekanpur BSF campus, Gajendra was naturally introduced to principles such as orderliness, responsibility, and structured living from an early age.
Although he hailed from the rural village of Bajera, his day-to-day life inside the campus exposed him to a broader cultural atmosphere—one that blended the simplicity of village life with the refined social standards commonly seen in larger cities like Kolkata. This unique combination shaped his personality, broadened his worldview, and strengthened his adaptability.
Today, Gajendra is widely recognized for his strong sense of discipline, organization, and grounded nature—attributes rooted in the harmonious blend of his rural heritage and military-influenced upbringing.
Primary and Secondary Schooling
Gajendra Singh’s academic journey began within the structured and inspiring environment of the BSF Primary School and BSF Senior Secondary School inside the Tekanpur BSF campus in Madhya Pradesh. Growing up in a setting shaped by discipline and purpose, he developed a natural inclination toward learning, curiosity, and self-improvement.
Under the CBSE curriculum, Gajendra consistently stood out for his dedication. In Class X, he earned an impressive 93% in History, reflecting his strong analytical thinking and deep interest in understanding people, society, and the world around him. Yet, instead of choosing the subjects he was already excelling in, he decided to challenge himself.
Despite his strengths in History, Civics, and Geography, Gajendra boldly selected the Science stream—embracing Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology for his higher secondary studies.
This decision wasn’t just academic; it was a defining moment that revealed his mindset: to explore beyond comfort, to push boundaries, and to grow by stepping into the unknown. This drive to challenge himself early on became one of the cornerstones of his future entrepreneurial spirit.
Academic Challenges & Achievements
Gajendra Singh’s academic journey wasn’t defined by easy wins—it was shaped by perseverance, resilience, and an unshakeable refusal to quit. While he performed well in many subjects, Mathematics became his toughest challenge.
In Class XI, he scored 2.5 out of 100 in Mathematics—a score so low that it became a memorable record in the school’s history. For many students, this could have been a breaking point. But for Gajendra, it became a turning point.
Faced with a compartment, he made an extraordinary decision. For 45 days, he attended both Class XI and Class XII simultaneously, doubling his effort instead of stepping back. His determination paid off when he cleared the compartment exam with 36 out of 100, proving that progress matters more than perfection.
In 2004, he completed his 12th grade (PCB + Mathematics) under the CBSE board. Even though Mathematics continued to be a challenge, he never allowed it to define his limits. Instead, he chose to rise above it—ultimately opting for an engineering course, a decision that reflected his courage to face difficulties head-on.
Gajendra’s academic journey stands as a reminder that success is not about always scoring high—it is about never giving up, especially on the subjects or situations that try to break you.
College & Engineering Studies
Growing up in a small town, Gajendra’s exposure to career options and competitive examinations was limited. He had no prior understanding of major national-level exams like IIT-JEE, GATE, or scholarship programs. Like many students from modest backgrounds, he relied on the guidance of friends, teachers, and well-wishers to navigate his path forward.
In 2004, following the advice of people around him, Gajendra appeared for the BSF engineering entrance examination, competing against 1,000 students for just 60 seats. He secured the 57th rank, earning admission into the Information Technology branch at Rustam Ji Institute of Technology (RJIT)—a prestigious institution under Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal.
From the moment he stepped onto the RJIT campus, Gajendra carried with him the discipline of his upbringing and the determination built from past challenges. He completed his four-year engineering degree in 2008, without a single uncleared back paper—a milestone that reflected his growth and consistency.
One of his biggest personal achievements during this period was successfully passing four consecutive mathematics semesters (M1, M2, M3, and M4). This was the same subject that had once caused him immense struggles in school. With the support and guidance of mentors like Mr. Anand Jha and Mr. Yashwant Pathank, Gajendra transformed a former weakness into a testament of resilience.
By the time he graduated as an IT Engineer, he had not only earned a degree—he had rewritten his story.
First Friend Circle
College life at RJIT opened a new world for Gajendra—a world filled with diversity, culture, and friendships that would stay with him for life. For someone who had grown up in a small, disciplined campus environment, meeting people from different cities, backgrounds, and personalities was both refreshing and transformative.
During his four years at RJIT, Gajendra built a strong and unforgettable friend circle that became a major part of his college journey. He connected deeply with friends across branches and academic years, forming relationships that went beyond classrooms and hostels.
His closest circle included:
Manish Bahuguna — IT, Dehradun
Anil Bhandari — IT, Haldwani
Sonu Panwar — Automobile, Ujjain
Sohan Singh Khangarot — Automobile, Jaipur
Vipin Badoni — IT, Haldwani
Nitesh Kumar Chandel — Electronics, Ahmedabad
and many more who enriched his journey like Mohit Verma, Ajay Bahuguna, Mandeep Singh Dhull, Ruchi Singh Ghosh, Snigdha Srivastav, Sandhya Ma’am, Shivangi Singh, Aman Sangwan, Dinesh Sen, Tanvi Shukla, Manish Jamwal, Vikas Sharma, and others.
This diverse group shaped Gajendra’s understanding of people and personalities. They studied together, laughed together, and faced the ups and downs of college life side by side. These friendships not only made his engineering years memorable but also played a significant role in building his confidence, social skills, and emotional intelligence—qualities that later became invaluable in his entrepreneurial journey.
Campus Placement Rejections & Challenges
The placement season at Rustam Ji Institute of Technology was a defining phase for many students—and for Gajendra Singh, it became a chapter of hard lessons and even harder resilience. While many aspired to be selected by major companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys, the journey was far from easy.
Gajendra consistently struggled with the first stage itself: the written tests. No matter how much he prepared, he couldn’t clear the initial assessments, which meant he never reached the Group Discussion or Interview rounds. For many students, these repeated rejections would have led to self-doubt, frustration, or even giving up. But Gajendra saw these setbacks differently. Every failed attempt became a push to try again. Every rejection became a reminder that growth often comes through persistence, not shortcuts.
Instead of letting these failures define him, he focused on improving his communication skills, strengthening his technical base, and preparing himself for opportunities beyond the campus gates. These early challenges built the foundation of resilience that would later fuel his entrepreneurial mindset.
First Job (Sarlahweb): The Start of an Unstoppable Journey
In 2009, Gajendra Singh began his professional journey with a startup named TA Netgables Private Ltd (now Sarlahweb), founded by Mr. Kaviraj Singh, an ex-Microsoft Manager with a bold vision for technology-driven solutions. Gajendra joined as the 9th employee of the company—an experience that exposed him to the energy, hustle, and raw ambition of an early-stage startup environment.
Working as a Business Analyst in Gwalior, he started with a modest salary of ₹3600 per month. But what looked like a humble beginning soon became a life-shaping experience. Within just six months, his dedication and performance led to his salary being increased to ₹8200 per month, marking a meaningful milestone in his early career.
This phase also brought him in touch with the first corporate professionals of his life, individuals who unknowingly helped shape his work ethic and perspective:
- Mr. Naveen Wadhwani — General Manager, Sarlahweb
- Mr. Vaibhav Mishra — Sales Head
- Mr. Prashant Mishra — Sales Manager
- Mr. Nisar Ahmed — Sales Manager
These mentors and colleagues played a crucial role in teaching him what the real corporate world looks like—discipline, communication, responsibility, and the spirit of teamwork. What began as a simple job soon became the foundation of the leader, innovator, and entrepreneur he is today.
Second Job: TI Infotech Private Limited — A Turning Point in Professional Maturity
After building a strong foundation in business analysis, sales, and product management during his first job, Gajendra Singh took a major leap forward in his career by joining TI Infotech Private Limited in May 2010 as a Marketing Manager. TI Infotech, a leading name in travel technology, offered cutting-edge products such as Travel Assist, Travel Cloud Suite ERP, and advanced IT infrastructure services—solutions that powered travel companies across the globe. This environment became a powerful catalyst for Gajendra’s growth into a well-rounded product and marketing professional.
During his tenure from May 2010 to September 2013, Gajendra played a pivotal role in:
- Strengthening global brand presence
- Developing high-impact marketing strategies
- Setting international business development standards, especially for the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region
- Enhancing product positioning and customer outreach for travel technology solutions
His dedication boosted the company’s visibility, helped unlock new markets, and contributed significantly to its long-term reputation in the travel domain. This period also introduced Gajendra to some of the most influential and respected leaders of his professional journey—individuals who shaped his corporate values and leadership style:
- Late Ms. Meenu Sachdeva — Director
- Mr. Narendra Dixit — VP Sales
- Mr. Ajay Arora — VP Technology
- Mr. Darshan Sharma — VP
Gajendra’s relationship with these esteemed professionals extended far beyond office walls. Built on trust, sincerity, and performance, these connections evolved into long-lasting professional bonds, marked by genuine respect and mutual admiration.
This phase was not just a job—it was a transformation, refining Gajendra into a global thinker, a strategic marketer, and a confident leader prepared for the next chapters of his entrepreneurial journey.
Influential Professional Relationships at TI Infotech
TI Infotech was more than just a workplace for Gajendra Singh—it was a transformational chapter filled with mentors, collaborators, and experiences that shaped his leadership style, sharpened his skills, and quietly prepared him for entrepreneurship.
During these years, Gajendra had the opportunity to work with several remarkable professionals who left a lasting imprint on his mindset, work ethic, and approach to business.
One of the most influential among them was Mr. Sumit Narang (Project Manager). Sumit’s clarity of thought, structured work style, and strong technological grounding deeply inspired Gajendra. Watching Sumit later transition into entrepreneurship with GenX eSolutions became a defining motivation—proof that vision, courage, and discipline could create something extraordinary. In many ways, Sumit planted the early seeds of entrepreneurship in Gajendra’s mind.
Gajendra also built a strong professional relationship with Mr. Shiraz Ahmad (Sales Manager). Shiraz’s sharp understanding of sales strategy and client behaviour broadened Gajendra’s perspective on customer psychology, negotiation, and long-term client servicing. Shiraz helped him understand that sales isn’t just a function—it is an art powered by trust, empathy, and the delivery of consistent value.
Another significant influence was Mr. Brijesh Kumar (Director, Direct Pharmacy). Brijesh’s leadership style—rooted in discipline, strategic vision, and operational precision—offered Gajendra deeper insights into management and business development. Interactions with him strengthened Gajendra’s ability to think clearly, scale processes, and view business decisions through a long-term lens.
While working at TI Infotech, Gajendra was entrusted with building an entirely new business vertical from scratch. In his search for the right technical partner, he discovered SRV Web Solutions, led by the capable and trustworthy Shakti Pratap Suryavanshi. Impressed by Shakti’s technical expertise and integrity, Gajendra onboarded SRV as a third-party development partner, and together they delivered multiple projects with consistency, trust, and precision—significantly strengthening TI Infotech’s technical capabilities and creating a profitable new business stream. This collaboration became the foundation of a long-term professional relationship that would later play a pivotal role in the creation of Webkype.
Third Job: GenX eSolutions Pvt. Ltd.
After building a strong professional rapport with Mr. Sumit Narang at TI Infotech, Gajendra Singh joined GenX eSolutions Pvt. Ltd. in October 2013 as a full-time Marketing Consultant in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
During his tenure from October 2013 to June 2015, he played a key role in strengthening the company’s presence in the GCC market and driving the marketing of its travel technology products. He led campaigns for flagship offerings like Travzilla, spearheaded the redesign of the SaaS-based Travel ERP by coordinating engineering, design, and marketing teams, and contributed to major feature upgrades across multiple platforms.
Gajendra also evaluated market risks, tracked competitive trends, identified emerging opportunities, and supported the development of mobile applications for Android and iOS in the travel and hospitality domain. His work at GenX solidified his foundation in product research, marketing strategy, CRM, and cross-functional collaboration, sharpening skills that would later support his entrepreneurial journey.
Business Mindset: It All Started with a Feeling…
Gajendra grew up inspired by people who rewrote the rules of their world — Steve Jobs with his unshakeable vision, Shah Rukh Khan with his relentless resilience, and Mark Zuckerberg with his fearless ambition. Their journeys, their setbacks, their comebacks — each one left a deep imprint on him. Over time, their stories stopped being stories; they became fuel.
After five years of doing everything society considers “right” — building a stable career, earning recognition, taking responsibility, and growing steadily — Gajendra felt something quietly rising within him. A thought. A nudge. A voice that became louder with every passing day:
“You were meant to build something of your own.”
And that feeling became the spark that would eventually ignite his entrepreneurial journey.
Founding of Webkype
The origins of Webkype Info Services Pvt. Ltd. trace back to 2012, when Gajendra Singh, then working at TI Infotech, was assigned the task of building a new business vertical from the ground up. During his search for reliable technical partners, he discovered SRV Web Solutions through a Google search for “CMS Development Company in Noida.” Founded in 2006 by Shakti Pratap Suryawanshi, along with Ravi and Vinod, the company quickly became TI Infotech’s preferred development partner under Gajendra’s leadership.
The collaboration between Gajendra and Shakti proved highly effective, producing several successful projects and contributing to a profitable new tech-driven business stream within TI Infotech. Their working relationship, built on trust, technical strength, and seamless alignment, formed the basis of a long-term association.
In 2025, when Gajendra decided to begin his entrepreneurial journey, he chose Shakti as his co-founder. He acquired SRV Web Solutions at a mutually agreed value, merging both professional paths into one shared vision. With ₹18,00,000 worth of ongoing projects, a small team of two employees, three freelancers, and unstructured operations, the duo launched Webkype Info Services Pvt. Ltd. in August 2015.
Despite limited resources, Webkype was founded not on capital or perfect planning, but on belief—the belief that two aligned minds could build something extraordinary.
Today, Gajendra is widely recognized for his strong sense of discipline, organization, and grounded nature—attributes rooted in the harmonious blend of his rural heritage and military-influenced upbringing.
