Entrepreneur Gajendra Singh, along with co-founder Shakti Pratap, has founded Caasaa AI Innovations Private Limited, an artificial intelligence–driven enterprise software company aimed at addressing the growing technology challenges faced by MSMEs and mid-market businesses.
Established in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, Caasaa was created in response to widespread operational disruptions and the rising inability of smaller enterprises to adapt to rigid and expensive ERP and CRM systems. The founders identified a significant gap in the market: while digital adoption was accelerating rapidly, access to flexible, AI-enabled business software remained limited.
Born Out of Crisis, Built for Change
The pandemic years of 2019–2020 marked a turning point for businesses globally. Studies indicate that more than 70% of small and mid-sized enterprises were forced to digitize critical operations in a short span of time, often without the right tools or infrastructure.
Gajendra Singh and Shakti Pratap, both experienced in enterprise technology, observed that traditional business software platforms were failing to keep pace with this shift. High licensing costs, long implementation cycles, and limited customization left many organizations unable to modernize effectively.
Seeing an opportunity within the disruption, the founders began shaping what would later become Caasaa—an AI-first platform designed around flexibility, affordability, and real business needs.
“We focused on solving real operational problems rather than building generic software. That approach allowed Caasaa to become profitable from day one,” said Gajendra Singh.
AI Adoption Accelerates, Legacy Systems Lag Behind
Between 2021 and 2022, the business landscape underwent further transformation. Remote work, automation, and digital-first customer engagement became standard, while artificial intelligence moved from experimentation to practical deployment.
Industry data shows that:
- Over 60% of enterprises began integrating AI into core workflows
- Demand for CRM and ERP modernization surged globally
- Many legacy software providers struggled to adapt quickly
Despite the rapid evolution of AI, access remained unequal—particularly for MSMEs. Closed systems and inflexible pricing models prevented many businesses from leveraging new technologies effectively.
This gap further shaped Caasaa’s direction.
