At Lawyered, Himanshu is redefining how legal services are discovered, delivered, and consumed. Under his leadership, Lawyered has evolved into a pioneering legal consumer-tech platform, offering innovative, tech-driven legal products that bridge the long-standing gap between legal professionals and end users.
He leads strategy, product vision, and growth—driving Lawyered’s journey from concept to one of India’s most promising legal tech brands. His strengths lie in product conceptualisation to execution, market validation, pricing and packaging, customer experience, and scalable go-to-market strategies.
Landmark Achievement – Ideabaaz Success
In a historic milestone, Lawyered secured ₹8.5 Crore in investment on Ideabaaz, creating history on Indian television. This achievement not only validated Lawyered’s disruptive vision but also positioned the company as a standout innovator in India’s startup ecosystem. The investment marks a significant leap in accelerating Lawyered’s product roadmap, technology expansion, and nationwide reach.
Leadership Experience – LexisNexis India (RELX Group)
Before founding Lawyered, Himanshu played a pivotal leadership role at LexisNexis India, where he was instrumental in building and scaling local online legal products for India and Malaysia from the ground up. Handpicked for high-impact roles, he progressed from Product Manager to Associate Director – Online Solutions, leading:
- End-to-end product ideation, adaptation, and execution
- Market feasibility studies and competitive intelligence
- Financial ownership, pricing, packaging, and P&L
- Launch of multiple online and offline derivative legal products
- Strategic initiatives including M&A and licensing opportunities
His tenure at LexisNexis laid the foundation for his deep understanding of the legal fraternity, content ecosystems, and technology-driven legal solutions.
Early Career & Technical Foundation
Himanshu began his career in hands-on engineering and project leadership roles at Fidelity Investments, L&T Infotech, Churchill India, and Cymbal Softwares, where he worked on enterprise-grade software applications, portals, and large-scale systems—building the strong technical base that continues to influence his product-first leadership style.

Himanshu Gupta has also worked closely with Gajendra Singh, who served as Technology Consultant for Lawyered from 2022 onwards, contributing to product architecture, technology strategy, and platform scalability during key phases of Lawyered’s growth journey.
